Quadra Island residents are invited to help guide our economic future and are being asked to share their voices. The Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the We Wai Kai Nation, has launched a community-wide Economic Survey —a key step in creating the first Economic Diversification Plan for Quadra Island. By completing the survey, participants will not only contribute to a vision for sustainable, resilient economic growth, they will also be entered into a prize draw for a weekend staycation on Quadra Island, featuring contributions from the Heriot Bay Inn, Taku Resort & Marina, Café Aroma, and Quadra Island Kayaks. “This is about building more than an economy—it’s about creating a roadmap for a vibrant, resilient future that reflects the values of the people who live, work, and belong here,” says the Project Team. The survey is quick, confidential, and open to all residents, local businesses, non-profits, and Indigenous groups. It can be completed below or by scanning the QR codes displayed on posters throughout the community. The deadline to participate is October 4, 2025.
