QUADRA ISLAND, B.C., July 24, 2024 – The newly elected Council of the Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the arrival of a new website providing current member listings and offering the opportunity for members to have a dedicated “enhanced” listing page. A perfect option for those that don’t have a website of their own.
The Council is committed to focusing on the organization’s objective which is “to promote and improve sustainable trade and commerce, and the economic, civic and social welfare of the district”. Website project leader, Carol-Ann Terreberry stated, “it’s been great to return to the Council after a 10-year sabbatical and assist with such a meaningful project for the benefit of the members. Our focus is our members, and we’re taking important steps to benefit them by improving sustainable trade and commerce”.
The new website is as self sustaining as possible requiring very little work on the back end to ensure smooth delivery of services for our members.
A big thank you to David Hathaway of Simian Studios who was delightful to work with, helped us achieve our goals and provided us with a quality product on a tight budget and timeline.
